Sy Ha

Sy Ha has a diverse range of work experience in the field of machine learning and software engineering. In 2014, they worked as a Software Engineer at Vingroup JSC, where they developed .NET applications, web services, and window services for an e-commerce logistic system. Sy also worked on a recommendation system during their time there. From January 2018 to July 2018, Sy Ha worked at Websosanh.vn as a Machine Learning R&D, where they researched and built machine learning and deep learning models for various problems in product comparing services. This included projects such as products categorization and alcohol products detection using product titles. In July 2018, Sy Ha briefly worked as a Freelancer, focusing on machine learning projects related to computer vision, machine learning, and deep learning. Sy worked on tasks such as T-shirt fashion style classification, eye pupil detection with face detection, and Twitter emotion sentiment analysis. Since November 2018, Sy Ha has been working at Bob.ai, initially as a Machine Learning Engineer on the founding team. Sy was responsible for bringing optimization and machine learning/AI algorithms to their products and services, with a focus on Public Housing Authorities. Currently, they hold the role of Chief Technology Officer at Bob.ai, starting in January 2021.

Sy Ha completed their education at the Hanoi University of Science and Technology. From 2009 to 2014, they pursued an Engineer's degree in the Talented Program with a focus on Applied Mathematics. In 2015 and 2016, Sy Ha attended the same university to earn a Master of Applied Mathematics degree, specializing in Optimization. Additionally, in March 2018, they obtained several certifications from Coursera Course Certificates, including "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization," "Neural Networks and Deep Learning," "Sequence Models," and "Structuring Machine Learning Projects."
