Mehdi Bashirli

Mehdi Bashirli is an accomplished professional in the banking sector, currently serving as the Head of the Small and Medium Enterprises Lending Department at Bank of Baku OJSC since June 2025. Prior experience includes roles at Rabitabank OJSC as a Small and Medium Business Clients Manager and Senior Loan Officer, as well as a Leading Officer role at Yelo Bank. Mehdi began a progressive career at AccessBank Azerbaijan, holding various positions specializing in small and medium business clients since January 2019. Mehdi holds a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management from Azerbaijan State University of Economics and a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Economics from Baku State University.
