José Hernandez-Mora has held a variety of roles in the hospitality industry since 2011. In 2021, they are currently working as a Business Development Manager for Bob W. and as a Sales Account Executive for Food Tech. From 2019 to 2021, they held the role of Business Development Manager for OYO Vacation Homes and Sales Manager Spain for Leonardo Hotels. In 2018, they took a Travel Leave. From 2016 to 2018, they worked for Hilton Worldwide as a Senior Sales Manager MICE and UK Cluster Sales Spain & Portugal and Sales Manager. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as a Senior Sales Executive for oxoHotel S.A.S. From 2013 to 2014, they were a Mercadeo y Relaciones Públicas for Hoteles Charleston Colombia. From 2012 to 2013, they were an HR assistant for Hotel Miguel Angel Occidental. From 2011 to 2012, they were a Réceptionniste for Manotel.

José Hernandez-Mora began their educational journey in 2004 when they attended the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. In 2010, they graduated from the Hotel Management School Geneva | EHG with a Senior Diploma in Hotel and Restaurant Management. In 2019, José Hernandez-Mora completed two educational programs, the Programa ThePowerMBA from ThePower Business School and the Advanced Hospitality Revenue Management Certificate from Cornell University. Most recently, in 2021, they completed the Programa avanzado de Dirección Hotelera, Hotéalsity from Schöolers with a focus in Gestion d'hôtels, motels et restaurants. José Hernandez-Mora also holds a Baccalauréat from Liceo Francés de Madrid.
