David Cheek

David Cheek is an experienced business developer and municipal leader with a strong background in construction and municipal management. Currently serving as a Business Developer at Bobbitt, David focuses on market growth and delivering presentations on Design Build and Construction Delivery Methods. Previously, David held interim leadership roles as City Manager for the City of Burlington and City Manager for the City of Mebane, alongside positions as Assistant City Manager and County Manager in Alamance County. David’s tenure at Alamance Community College included serving on the Foundation Board, where oversight of financial services and administrative operations was a primary responsibility. David holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from North Carolina State University and graduated from Graham High School in the top 20 of the class.
