R.j. Smith

R.J. Smith has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. R.J. started their career at Midway Gold Corp. in 2007, where they served as the Vice President of Administration. In 2013, they joined Venture Technologies West as the Chief Financial Officer, providing IT solutions to organizations across the United States. After leaving Venture Technologies in 2018, R.J. Smith served as the Chief Financial Officer for Salisbury & Moore Construction, Inc., specializing in hospitality renovations. In 2021, they joined BLAIR DURON as their Chief Financial Officer, focusing on high-performance industrial and commercial flooring solutions. Currently, R.J. Smith holds the position of Chief Financial Officer at Bobbitt, a general contractor specializing in public and privately owned buildings throughout the Southeast.

R.J. Smith earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Elon University's Martha and Spencer Love School of Business. The program took place from 2017 to 2020. Additionally, in 2012, R.J. attended the MIT Sloan School of Management for an executive education program specializing in Negotiation for Executives. Prior to these educational experiences, R.J. obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree with Honors in Business Administration from Bryan College. They also obtained a Master of Business Administration certification from Elon University in March 2020.
