Jake Waterman

Jake Waterman is a Senior Substation Maintenance Engineer at Portland General Electric since July 2024, bringing extensive experience in engineering and manufacturing. Previously, Jake served as a Manufacturing Process Engineer at Bob's Red Mill, overseeing various engineering projects, and was involved in multiple facets of manufacturing processes. Prior to that, Jake held positions at PCC Structurals, Inc. as a Manufacturing Engineer III, managing plant projects, and as a Mechanical Engineer II, focusing on design and reverse engineering. Experience includes work at SpaceX, where Jake contributed to the engineering master for the F9 Block 5 design, and earlier roles at O'Reilly Auto Parts, GFR, Daimler Trucks North America, and Stone Creek Golf Club. Jake holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Portland State University.
