Adam Veldhousen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Adam is currently working as a Principal Site Reliability Engineer at Bobsled since August 2023. Prior to this, they served as a Staff Infrastructure Engineer at Automox from October 2021 to July 2023.

From 2016 to 2021, Adam worked at LiveAuctioneers, where they held various roles including Staff Infrastructure Engineer, Senior Site Reliability Engineer, and Senior Software Engineer. In addition to their SRE responsibilities, they managed a team and took ownership of operational and data tasks, participated in architecture discussions, and made leadership decisions.

Before LiveAuctioneers, Adam co-founded 4MeLabs in 2015 and was responsible for its management until May 2020. Adam also worked as a Lead Full Stack Engineer at MTM Recognition from June 2014 to June 2016, where they set standards for site reliability practices, software development practices, and played a crucial role in AWS infrastructure administration.

Adam began their career as a Software Engineer at Towers Watson in March 2013, focusing on enhancing the company's software platforms. Prior to that, they held contract positions as a Software Developer at Rubio's Restaurants, Inc., GTECH, and uGenius, where they worked on various projects and led development teams.

Throughout their career, Adam has demonstrated expertise in AWS components, including Application Load Balancer, Elastic Container Services, RDS, S3, Lambda, and API Gateway. Adam has also implemented edge caching using Fastly at LiveAuctioneers.

Adam Veldhousen attended Neumont College of Computer Science from 2009 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (BSc CS) with a focus on Computer Software Engineering.
