Bobsleigh CANADA Skeleton
Melissa Lotholz, OLY, is a distinguished bobsleigh athlete and current bobsleigh pilot for Bobsleigh Canada Skeleton, with notable achievements including a 12th place finish at the 2022 Olympics and the distinction of being the only Canadian woman to compete as both a brakewoman at the 2018 Olympics and as a pilot in 2022. Lotholz has made history by winning the Monobob World Series medal in 2021 and collecting 17 World Cup medals, alongside two World Championship silver medals and four Crystal Globes. Additionally, Lotholz served as the Technical Director for the Alberta Bobsleigh Association, focusing on technical programming and recruitment. Lotholz holds a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition and Food Science from the University of Alberta.

Bobsleigh Canada Skeleton is a non-profit organization and the national governing body for the sports of bobsleigh and skeleton in Canada. BCS exists to create, nurture and support World and Olympic champions.
