Boca Grove
Phillip Gabes, PGA has a diverse work experience starting in 2012. Phillip began their career as a Cart Attendant at Kelly Plantation Golf Club and also worked as a Bag Staff member at Boca Grove Plantation Country Club. In 2014, Phillip worked as a Financial Representative at Northwestern Mutual Financial Services. Phillip then transitioned back into the golf industry, working as an Assistant Golf Professional and later as the First Assistant Golf Professional at Boca Grove. Currently, they hold the position of Head Golf Professional at Boca Grove since March 2020. Additionally, Phillip gained experience as a Recreation Assistant at Pelican Beach Resorts.
Phillip Gabes, PGA, began their education journey in 2007 at Fort Walton Beach High School, where they focused on their studies but did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study. From 2011 to 2015, they attended Florida Atlantic University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a concentration in Finance.
In addition to their formal education, Phillip Gabes has also obtained certifications to further enhance their professional qualifications. In June 2018, they became a TPI Level 1 Instructor through the Titleist Performance Institute. Continuing to expand their expertise, they attained the coveted PGA Class A Professional certification from the PGA of America in September 2020.
