Kimmo Kärkkäinen

Kimmo Kärkkäinen is a Finnish business professional who currently serves as an advisor and board member for Bocap. Kimmo has over 20 years of experience in various finance-related roles, including director of CFO services, investment director, and business planning director.

Kärkkäinen began their career as a secretary of the board of directors for Broadband Mobile in 2001. Kimmo quickly rose through the ranks and was promoted to business planning director in 2000. Kimmo held this role until 2001 when they left to join Intelligem Capital Oy as an investment director.

In 2011, Kärkkäinen joined the Bocap Group as a board member and partner. Kimmo remained with the company until 2008 when they left to join Affecto Oy. At Affecto, Kärkkäinen served in several different finance-related roles, including CFO services lead and principal consultant. In 2016, they left Affecto to join Fira Oy as their CFO. Kimmo held this position until 2012 when they joined Ukkoverkot Oy as a board member.

Kärkkäinen has been with Bocap since 2012, first serving as a board member and then as an advisor and board member.

Kimmo Kärkkäinen has a MSc in Economics from the Helsinki School of Economics and a master's degree from the Lycée Franco-Finlandais d'Helsinki.
