Jamia Gaffney is the Director of Event Marketing at Boch Center. Jamia has extensive experience in marketing and event planning, having previously served as the Director of Marketing for Blue Man Group in Boston.
Gaffney is responsible for the development and execution of marketing campaigns for Boch Center events. Jamia has a proven track record of success in designing and executing marketing initiatives across all channels, including traditional and digital media, public relations, event marketing, corporate and non-profit partnerships.
Gaffney is a skilled communicator and leader who is able to build and maintain relationships with internal and external teams. Jamia has a deep understanding of the local Boston market and has developed strong relationships with key vendors and partners in the city.
Gaffney is committed to giving back to the community and has facilitated partnerships with several local charities, including Autism Speaks of New England and Christmas in the City. Jamia has also organized and executed successful fundraising campaigns and events, such as the Blue Man Group Boston Drum-Off and the annual Patriots Super Bowl Send-Off Rally.
Jamia Gaffney has a MS in Communications from Boston University and a BA in English, Sociology, and Communications from Wells College. Jamia also has a High School Diploma from Hopkins School. Jamia is certified from LinkedIn in Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging for All and from Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce in Women's Leadership Program.
