Arin Melvin

Arin Melvin has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. They began their career in 2007 as a Coach & Lifeguard at Vision Recreation & Leisure, followed by a similar role at GLL in 2009. In 2011, Arin worked as a Multi-Skills Coach, providing specialist coaching to local primary schools' P.E. classes.

From 2012 to 2015, Arin was self-employed as a Certified Personal Trainer, offering their services on a freelance basis. They then worked as a Personal Trainer at Virgin Active from 2015 to 2016, and at Fitness First UK from 2016 to 2020.

In 2019, Arin started their own consulting firm called A Melvin Consulting. As a Consultant, they focused on projects such as developing an algorithm for automated and scalable personal training, designing market strategies, and delivering corporate wellness workshops.

Most recently, Arin joined BODDY in 2020 as a Partnership Manager. Their responsibilities include market strategy and segmentation for a B2B2C platform, engaging the market, pitching the service, and negotiating partnership terms.

Arin Melvin obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Sports Science and Exercise with Coaching from Nottingham Trent University from 2011 to 2013. Prior to this, Arin completed A-Levels in Sports and Exercise Science, Biology, and Sociology at Highams Park from 2006 to 2009. Additionally, Arin has obtained several certifications including the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification from RLSS in February 2007, FA Level 1 in Coaching Football from 1st4Sport, FA Level 2 in Coaching Football from 1st4Sport, and Level 3 Personal Training from the Register of Exercise Professionals. The specific months and years of obtaining the certifications are unknown.
