Juan Thurman

Juan Thurman is a seasoned entrepreneur and investor, currently serving as Co-founder and Managing General Partner at Semilla Climate Capital since July 2021. As Director of the SWAN Impact Network, started in February 2017, Juan focuses on early-stage companies tackling societal challenges. Other significant roles include Board Observer and Investor positions at Bodhi® and Accelerist, as well as serving on the Board of Directors for VeMiDoc and DivInc. Additional experience includes being a Venture Partner at NextGen Venture Partners and holding various advisory and leadership positions in previous ventures. Juan's academic credentials include an MBA in Marketing and Entrepreneurship from Texas McCombs School of Business and a BSME in Mechanical Engineering from Rice University.
