Patrik Šebest

Patrik Šebest has a diverse work experience in the field of IT and security. Patrik is currently working as the Head of IT Operations & Security at Bodycote since December 2020. Prior to that, they served as the Global Security Officer at BNP Paribas Cardif from November 2018 to November 2020, where they managed and implemented security measures in various areas including cyber security awareness, information system security, continuity, and people and premises security. Before that, they held the position of Information Security Manager for Central Europe at Tesco Czech Republic from February 2016 to January 2018 and worked as an IT Support Specialist at the same company from February 2015 to January 2016. Patrik started their career as an IT Support Analyst at Cetelem in August 2014.

Patrik Šebest completed their GCSE at SPŠE Ječná Praha 2 from 2010 to 2014, with a focus on Information Technology. Patrik then pursued a degree in Software Engineering and Management at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Czech Technical University in Prague from 2014 to 2016. Additionally, they obtained various certifications related to information security and cloud security assessment and response from institutions such as ISACA and Qualys in recent years.
