Rick Llope

Rick Llope has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Rick currently holds the position of President, Automotive & General Industrial, North America at Bodycote since January 2023. Prior to this, from June 2021 to January 2023, they served as the EVP, BU Americas at Purem by Eberspächer. From August 2018 to June 2021, Rick worked at LEONI, where they held the position of SVP Americas and Member of the Executive Board, Wiring Systems. Before that, they had an extensive tenure at Federal-Mogul Powertrain, where they held various roles such as SVP & GM Global Valvetrain, SVP VSG & CPT, SVP Global Sales and Corporate Strategy, SVP Ignition, SVP and GM, Bearings and Ignition, VP and Business Director, Global Ignition (Champion), VP, OE Sales and Marketing, Asia-Pacific, Director - Powertrain China, Plant Manager, Director, Business Development, Global Powertrain, Director, Corporate Development, and Director, Sales. Rick started their career at BorgWarner as a Sales Manager from March 1994 to June 1999 and previously worked at NSK (Nastech) as an Account Manager from May 1990 to March 1994.

Rick Llope earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus in Finance and Corporate Strategy from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business, which they attended from 1997 to 2001. Rick also holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan, where they studied from 1986 to 1990. Prior to their undergraduate studies, Rick attended St. Thomas Aquinas from 1982 to 1986, although no degree or field of study is provided for this time period.
