Daniel Herrmann

Daniel Herrmann advises start-up companies, SMEs and large corporations in the field of intellectual property rights, in particular patents and utility models. He focuses on the development and management of patent portfolios in almost all technological areas with an emphasis on optics, electronics, computer-implemented inventions, semiconductors, and medical devices. He regularly and intensely represents clients in examination and opposition procedures before the European Patent Office (EPO) and the German Patent and Trade Mark Office (GPTO), and conducts patent infringement and nullity proceedings before the German courts. In addition, he performs searches and freedom-to-operate analyses.
