Alessandra di Muzio

Alessandra Di Muzio has a strong background in regulatory affairs, with experience in leading teams and providing scientific services. Alessandra currently holds the position of Head of Regulatory Affairs and Scientific Service at Boehringer Ingelheim. Prior to this, they served as the Local Regulatory Affairs Team Lead at the same company. Before joining Boehringer Ingelheim, Alessandra worked as a Regulatory Affairs Manager at Janssen Inc. and as a Regulatory Affairs Specialist at Roche. Alessandra began their career as a Research Fellow at the University of L'Aquila.

Alessandra Di Muzio has a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from Università degli Studi dell'Aquila, which they obtained in 2009. Alessandra then pursued a Master's degree in Medical Biotechnology from the same university, which they completed in 2011. In 2009, Alessandra also studied Biotechnology at Sierra Nevada College. In 2011, they were awarded a scholarship for Molecular Biology at Stony Brook University. Alessandra further expanded their knowledge by completing a Master's degree in "Regulatory Affairs of homeopathic and vegetal drugs" from Università degli Studi 'Gabriele d'Annunzio' di Chieti - Pescara in 2014. Finally, they pursued a Master's degree in "Regulatory Affairs & Market Access in the Pharmaceutical Sector" focused on EU pharmaceutical legislation for medicinal products for human use, economic evaluation, and market access from Università degli Studi del Piemonte Orientale in 2015.
