Christian Berger

Christian Berger has extensive experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, with a career at Boehringer Ingelheim since April 2001, progressing through various leadership roles in product and project management, quality control, and analytical science. Current responsibilities involve managing analytical projects for marketed products and new biological entities while developing strategies for their industrialization. Previous roles included overseeing external laboratories and establishing compliance procedures, leading laboratory efforts in bioassays and chromatography, and handling analytical CMC packages for biopharmaceuticals. Additionally, Christian Berger is a partner at ieb-GbR, focusing on biotech consulting, and served as chairman of the Agnes-Widmann Foundation, managing a portfolio aimed at education. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Biochemistry from The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg and a postdoctoral position at the University of Ulm.
