Christina Heitmueller

Christina Heitmueller is a seasoned professional in the field of immune oncology and translational research with extensive experience across several prestigious organizations. Currently serving as the Scientific Expert/Director and Early Asset & Translational Lead at Boehringer Ingelheim since November 2023, Christina previously held various leadership roles at MorphoSys from May 2010 to November 2023, including Director-Head of Translational Research and Associate Director/Team Lead for Disease Biology and Translational Research. Responsibilities included leading a team focused on translational pharmacology, characterizing antibody candidates, and managing cross-functional research initiatives. Prior to MorphoSys, Christina worked as a Scientist in Biologics Discovery at Roche Pharma Research and Early Development, specializing in antibody-based immunotherapies, and as a Team Leader for an Antibody Subgroup at the Laboratory for Translational Cancer Immunology, where leadership in preclinical development of immunotherapeutic strategies took place.
