Dr. Sven Sommerlatte

Dr. Sven Sommerlatte serves as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Boehringer Ingelheim since April 2021, bringing extensive experience from Sanofi where roles included VP, Head of Human Resources for the Global CHC Business Unit and Vice President for the Global Generics Division. With a strong background in organizational development, Dr. Sommerlatte has designed and implemented various HR strategies, talent development programs, and change management initiatives across multiple global regions including Africa, Latin America, and Europe. Previous consulting roles at Arthur D. Little further established expertise in business process redesign and organizational strategy. Dr. Sommerlatte holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Development and has contributed as an Assistant Professor at ESCP Business School.
