Evgeny Zalmover

Evgeny Zalmover is an accomplished professional in the field of medical safety and pharmacovigilance, currently serving as Executive Director of Medical Safety in Oncology at Boehringer Ingelheim since July 2022. Prior experience includes key leadership roles at Sanofi Genzyme, where Zalmover functioned as Therapeutic Area Head for Immunology & Inflammation and Diabetes within Global Pharmacovigilance. Zalmover also held the position of Senior Principal Scientist at Merck, focusing on Clinical Safety and Risk Management, and served in various director-level roles at Sanofi, overseeing Global Safety and Risk Management. Zalmover began a career in pharmacovigilance at Schering-Plough Research Institute. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Endocrine Surgery/Oncology and a Medical Residency in General Surgery from Saint Petersburg State Pediatric Medical University.
