Gretchen Blemker

Gretchen Blemker currently serves as Associate Director, Medical Science Liaison at Boehringer Ingelheim since August 2025. Prior to this, Blemker was a Senior Medical Science Liaison at REGENXBIO Inc. from April 2023 to August 2025 and held the position of Medical Director at Oyster Point Pharma from December 2020 to March 2023, where responsibilities included scientific exchange, investigator-initiated research, and collaboration with Clinical Development. Earlier roles include Medical Science Liaison at Dompé US and Shire, as well as Key Account Manager and Clinical Account Manager positions. Blemker began a career in clinical optometry after earning a Doctor of Optometry degree with honors from Indiana University School of Optometry, complemented by further education in ocular disease and pre-optometry studies.
