Noah Pefaur

Noah Pefaur currently serves as the Director of Protein Engineering at Boehringer Ingelheim since April 2021. Prior to this role, Pefaur worked at AbbVie from April 2012 to April 2021 as a Principal Research Scientist, where responsibilities included merging computational modeling with high-throughput molecular biology and protein production to facilitate biologic candidate engineering. Pefaur also participated as a Personnel Board Member for the Town of Belchertown from January 2013 to January 2017, focusing on labor dispute mediation. Earlier experience includes a position as a Research Scientist at Novo Nordisk Pharmaceuticals from June 2009 to March 2012, where Pefaur provided affinity reagents for target discovery, and as a Scientist at ZymoGenetics from May 2007 to June 2009, specializing in isolating affinity reagents using high-throughput methods. Pefaur holds a Master of Science in Biology and a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology, both from Eastern Washington University.
