Former Vice President Global R&d Project Management at Boehringer Ingelheim

Peter Dr. Bette has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Peter started their career at Rudolf-Buchheim Institut für Pharmakologie, where they worked as a Ph.D student, Post Doc, and Lecturer. In 1990, they joined Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health as a Scientific Expert in Pharmacology and Product Safety. Peter then moved to Boehringer Ingelheim Pharma in 1995, where they held various roles such as R&D Project Leader, Vice President R&D Project Management Germany, and Vice President Global R&D Project Management. In 2019, they became the Former Vice President Global R&D Project Management at Boehringer Ingelheim.

Peter Dr. Bette is a board certified pharmacologist and toxicologist ("Fachtierarzt") from Landestierärztekammer Rheinland-Pfalz in 1992. Peter completed their Staatsexamen and Approbation in Veterinärmedizin from Justus Liebig University Giessen between 1980 and 1985. Prior to that, they obtained their Abitur from Priv. Gymnasium Maria Königin, Lennestadt in 1980.
