Robert Towns

Robert Towns serves as a Board Member for the Diversify Veterinary Medicine Coalition since April 2022, focusing on increasing representation for BIPOC and underrepresented communities in veterinary medicine. At Boehringer Ingelheim, Robert has held the position of Senior Global Product Manager Supply for Animal Health since July 2016, where responsibilities include managing product lifecycles to ensure successful launches and robust supply. Previously, Robert worked as the Manager of Pet Healthcare Industrial Development, overseeing technical projects within the organization. Earlier career experiences include roles as Senior Process Engineer at The Schwan Food Company, Segment Manager and Manager of R&D at Wayne Farms, and Research Engineer at Kraft Foods Group. Robert holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Howard University, obtained from 1991 to 1997.
