Wolfgang Kirchstetter

Wolfgang Kirchstetter possesses extensive experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors, currently serving as Head of Team for Manufacturing Microbial, Engineering & Technology Microbial, and Plant Engineering Microbial at Boehringer Ingelheim since October 2017. Prior roles include Team Leader for Project & Compliance Engineering and Process Expert in Sterile Production at Novartis from January 2013 to September 2017, and a Research Associate in Vaccine Development at AFFiRiS AG in 2012. Early career experiences include various internships focusing on bioprocessing and quality analysis across different companies. Wolfgang Kirchstetter holds a Master of Science in Biotechnology and a Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Biotechnology from the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna, complemented by a mechanical engineering A-level from HTL-Steyr.
