Xavier M. Teitsma

Xavier M. Teitsma is an experienced professional in the field of epidemiology and real-world evidence, currently serving as Team Lead for Real World Evidence & Epidemiology at Boehringer Ingelheim since February 2023, leading strategies across priority therapeutic areas in the European MIDI region. Prior to this role, Xavier held multiple positions at Roche, including Global RWD Lead for Rare Diseases and Alzheimer’s Disease, and Medical Value Manager for Neurology, contributing to regulatory activities and evidence generation. Xavier's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Epidemiology from Utrecht University and a Master’s in Epidemiology from the University of Amsterdam, alongside a Bachelor's in Health from the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences.
