Zhichao Liu is an accomplished professional in the field of artificial intelligence and digital innovation with significant experience in computational toxicology. Currently serving as the Director of AI and Digital Innovation at Boehringer Ingelheim from November 2022 to March 2024, Zhichao Liu previously held the position of Technical Lead of the Artificial Intelligence Research Force (AIRForce) at the National Center for Toxicological Research (NCTR) under the FDA from September 2009 to November 2022. In addition to serving as Principal Investigator and lead researcher, Zhichao Liu worked as a Bioinformatician at ICF for a brief period in 2012. Zhichao Liu earned a Ph.D. in Chemoinformatics from Nankai University, where studies were conducted from September 2006 to August 2009.
