Jack Chang, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Jack started their career in 1991 as a Senior Member Of Technical Staff at AT&T, where they conducted research and development in data communications and image/speech/audio signal processing application algorithms/software for DSP. During this time, they also collaborated with Apple on audio/speech circuit boards for Mac and played a significant role in developing the industry's first MPEG2 audio encoder running on a single DSP. Jack was also involved in the ISO MPEG audio group and the AT&T DAB project.

In 1996, Jack worked at Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise as a Distinguished Member Of Technical Staff for a year. Following this, from 1997 to 2002, they served as a Principal Member Of Technical Staff at AT&T Labs - Research. Here, they designed the Universal Communicator, a tablet-type thin client for home networking, and partnered with Toshiba on an AAC pocket-size music player.

In 2003, Jack joined Boeing as a Senior Software Engineer and became a key member of the core team for the company's flagship product. Jack designed and developed web-based applications for the intelligence community, specializing in data mining, visualization, and analysis over large datasets. Jack also led third-party software integration projects with Centrifuge, IBM Analyst's Notebook, and Semantica.

In 2013, Jack moved to Loove Labs, where they held the position of Lead Developer/Architect until 2018. Finally, in 2018, they returned to Boeing, this time at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics, as a Senior Software Engineer.
