Sherri Moquin has extensive work experience in the field of software engineering. Sherri began their career at Bell Communications Research in 1985, where they worked as a Senior Software Engineer for eleven years. In 1996, they joined Lucent Technologies as a Member of Technical Staff, a position they held for six years. In 2002, they joined AT&T as a Software Engineer/Developer, and later transitioned to a role at L-3 Communications as a Sr. Principal Software Engineer in 2004. In 2011, they moved to Boeing Defense, Space & Security/Kestrel as a Software Engineer before joining AT&T again in 2013. At AT&T, they served as a Software Engineer/Developer until 2018. In 2019, they joined Boeing Intelligence & Analytics as a Software Engineer, where they are currently employed.
Sherri Moquin pursued their undergraduate studies from 1981 to 1983 at Rutgers University, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. Following this, they furthered their education at the University of Pennsylvania from 1984 to 1985, obtaining a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
