Alyssa Helwig

Alyssa Helwig is the senior manager of production engineering for the Space Launch System, overseeing the V-22 production line and CC-RAM modification line in Philadelphia. Leading a team of over 70 production engineers, they support the assembly of new V-22 fuselages and the delivery of upgraded V-22 CC-RAM aircraft to the USMC fleet. Previously, Alyssa was the production engineering manager for the CC-RAM program, where they built and managed a team of 30 engineers responsible for the modification and testing of the first 14 V-22 aircraft. They began their career at Boeing as a manufacturing engineering intern and hold a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University and a Master of Science in Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
