Amira Williams

Design Engineer at Boeing

Amira Williams is a Design Engineer at Boeing, having transitioned from a Design Engineering Intern role within the same company. Previously, Amira served as a Program Fellow and Program Assistant at Pioneers 21 Business Incubator and Co-Work Space, and held the position of UTEP Chapter President for the National Society of Black Engineers, where a chapter was successfully reinstated after seven years of inactivity. Additional experience includes various roles at The University of Texas at El Paso, including Undergraduate Teaching Assistant, E-Lead Inclusive Podcast Founder/Producer, and Undergraduate Research Assistant. Amira contributed as Senior Design Project Scrum Master for Abara | Borderland Connections, and gained early experience as a Cafe Barista and Manager at Cielo Vista Church. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Innovation and Leadership with focuses on Biomedical/Medical Engineering and Entrepreneurship from The University of Texas at El Paso, alongside an Associate of Arts degree from El Paso Community College.
