April McCormick

April McCormick is currently the Senior Manager for Flight Test Engineering Analysis at The Boeing Company, where they lead a team focused on delivering critical flight and ground test data to support design engineering. Over the past ten years at Boeing, April has held various positions, including management roles in project management and instrumentation, and has a background in mechanical engineering with a master's degree in project management from Stevens Institute of Technology. Prior to their work at Boeing, April was a mechanical and systems engineer at the Department of Defense, contributing to significant projects like Gunner Protection Kits and pyrotechnic simulations. In addition to their professional endeavors, April hosts the podcast “Uncomfortable Friend,” where they share personal experiences of grief and loss, aiming to inspire others through vulnerability and authenticity.
