Structural & Payload Design Engineer

Augusto Castro is an accomplished structural design engineer with extensive experience in the aerospace industry. Starting as an Aircraft Structural Designer Intern at Embraer in 2012, Augusto progressed to a Structural Design Engineer for the EVE Program, specializing in empennages and stabilizers. Further roles at Embraer included designing primary parts for the 175 E2's Horizontal Stabilizer and evaluating composite manufacturing processes. Prior experience includes positions at Sonaca Brasil, ANC, and Rotto Brasil, where skills in structural assembly and 3D design were honed. Currently serving as a Structural & Payload Design Engineer at Boeing, focusing on composite structural design for the BCA 787 fuselage, Augusto holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Etep - Centro Universitário and is pursuing a Master's degree in Engineering Mechanics at Universidade de Taubaté.
