Ben Ferrell has extensive experience in engineering, particularly in the aerospace sector. Ferrell began a career at GE Aviation in various engineering roles from July 2004 to April 2007, transitioning to a Lead Engineer position at General Electric Aviation from April 2009 to November 2011, focusing on advanced manufacturing and composites. Following this, Ferrell served as a Process Engineer at Albany Engineered Composites from February 2013 to June 2017. The career continued with a role as Advanced R&D Composites Engineer at Spirit AeroSystems from March 2021 to December 2025, before taking on the position of Senior Research and Development Engineer at Boeing in December 2025. Ferrell holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati.
