Brian Pheiffer

Brian Pheiffer has extensive experience in the fields of network architecture, systems engineering, and communication technologies. Currently, Brian serves as the Chief Engineer for proprietary NSP advanced payloads at Boeing, where responsibilities include leadership over Enterprise Laser Communication and oversight of various high-speed RF communication systems. Prior to Boeing, Brian held the position of Director of Network Architecture at Ciena, concentrating on complex customer network solutions and product management. Earlier career roles included Senior Systems Engineer at Cadence Design Systems, Data Network Architect Consultant at Com21, and Research Assistant at MIT Lincoln Laboratory, where Brian focused on optical waveguide devices. Brian began the professional journey with internships at Sprint, HP, and the KU Center for Research. Educational credentials include a Master’s Degree and Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and The University of Kansas, respectively, with ongoing studies at the University of Southern California.
