Carlos Chaves, PhD, PMP, is a multifaceted leader in the aerospace industry with a robust background in engineering, project management, and education. Currently the founder of Giddy Sloth, Carlos merges a passion for coffee with a commitment to sustainability, while also serving as a Production Engineering Manager at Boeing. Their experience spans various roles at Boeing, where they drove process improvements and managed complex projects, resulting in significant cost savings. Carlos has also imparted knowledge as an adjunct professor at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, teaching project management and engineering principles. They hold a PhD in Engineering/Industrial Management and are certified in project management and process improvement.
