Chad Rau

Chad Rau is a mechanical engineer with extensive experience in design, manufacturing, and systems engineering. With a Bachelor's of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University, Chad has held various roles from a Senior Design Project lead at GHSP, where a shift by wire system was developed, to a Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering Intern at Gentex Corporation, where production efficiencies were enhanced. As a Process Engineer at Minnesota Wire & Cable Co, significant production capacity improvements were achieved, and as a Propulsion Engineer at Boeing, Chad conducted in-depth safety analyses and certification under FAA regulations. Currently, as a Systems Engineer at Boeing, expertise is leveraged in Model Based Systems Engineering to facilitate digital transformation initiatives. Chad's career is characterized by a focus on cross-functional collaboration, process optimization, and quality assurance across multiple industries.
