Chris Childress is an accomplished experimental test pilot currently working at Boeing in St. Louis. With extensive experience in the United States Air Force, Chris served as a C-17 Experimental Test Pilot and Flight Commander, and later held the role of AFLCMC Det 3 Commander overseeing the MQ-1 Predator and MQ-9 Reaper developmental flight tests. Chris also worked as an MD-10/11 First Officer at FedEx Express before becoming a 767 Captain and has an educational background that includes an MBA in Aerospace and Defense and a Master’s Degree in Aviation Systems.
