Christin Datz is an Associate Technical Fellow in Product Sustainability at Boeing, where they lead technical strategy for lifecycle sustainability and circularity of commercial aircraft. With nearly 20 years of systems engineering and technical leadership experience, Christin advises major divisions at Boeing to define and execute sustainability goals. Previously, they served as the Design for Environmental Sustainability lead engineer, focusing on quantifying the environmental footprint of Boeing's products. Christin earned dual bachelor's degrees in Physics and Dance from Knox College, a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis, and a Master of Science in Sustainable Transportation from the University of Washington. They were recognized as Boeing's 2020 Environmental Champion for their leadership in sustainable materials and advocacy for sustainability as a technical career path.
