Daniel Boorman is currently an Affiliate Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine at the University of Washington. They have been an Engineering Technical Fellow at Boeing Commercial Airplanes since 2001 and served as a 787 Technical Pilot and Production Test Pilot from 2010 to 2014. With a piloting career that began in 1981 and included work as a contract pilot for vintage aircraft until 2014, Daniel holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they studied from 1976 to 1981.
