David Alexander

Propulsion Design Engineer Iii- 777-9 Nacelle

David Alexander is an experienced aerospace engineer specializing in propulsion and structures design. Since October 2018, David has been employed at Boeing, holding various positions including Propulsion Design Engineer III and Structures and Payloads Design Engineer for the 777-9 Nacelle. Prior to Boeing, David served as Chief Engineer and Project Manager at Cal Poly's Prototype Vehicles Laboratory, where leadership involved leading a team in developing a high-speed solar-powered car and negotiating substantial funding. Additional experience includes roles as a Composites Test Engineer for the SR-1 Project, Wind Tunnel Technician at California Polytechnic State University, and various positions in fabrication and construction. David holds a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
