David Argento

David Argento is a seasoned radiation and accelerator scientist/engineer with extensive expertise in radiation effects and modeling across various applications. With a Ph.D. in Earth & Space Sciences from the University of Washington, David has held significant roles, including Research Scientist and Accelerator Engineer, where they developed innovative dosimetry methods for cancer therapy and led radiation effects testing initiatives. Since 2022, David serves as the Radiation Effects Laboratory Lead Engineer at Boeing, continuing to advance the field. Prior to their research career, David gained experience as a Radiation Health Protection Administrator at The Boeing Company and a Principal Cyclotron Operator at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.
