Edward Ackad

Edward Ackad is an Associate Professor at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, where they design, implement, and teach undergraduate physics courses while researching computational nanophotonics. Edward previously served as a Research Assistant at the University of Ottawa and has extensive experience in the aerospace sector, currently working as a Lead Automation and Robotics Engineer at Boeing. They also held a position as a Software Engineer with Boeing Defense, Space & Security. Edward earned a Ph.D. in Physics from York University, where their research focused on relativistic heavy-ion collisions.
