Erica Sampson

Erica Sampson is an accomplished materials scientist with extensive academic and professional experience in the field of materials science and engineering. Erica completed a Doctorate and a Master's degree at Carnegie Mellon University, where doctoral research was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Sridhar Seetharaman. Prior to this, undergraduate studies were carried out at Clemson University, culminating in a Bachelor's of Science in Ceramic and Materials Engineering. Professional experience includes roles as a Cooperative Education Engineer at Eurokera, an Undergraduate Research Assistant under Dr. Henry Rack, and involvement in undergraduate research with Dr. Vincent Blouin. Erica has held positions at GE Global Research as a Materials Scientist and later as a Senior Material Scientist and Lead Material Scientist at GE Research. Currently, Erica serves as a Senior Materials, Processes, and Physics Engineer at Boeing.
