Fred Chu

Fred Chu is a Telecommunications Specialist at FTC Wireless and a Senior Radar Engineer at Boeing, both roles they began in 2020 and 2021, respectively. Previously, Fred served as a Sr. Staff Scientist at ADTRAN from 1997 to 2020, where they specialized in telecommunications technology development and standard development across various communication protocols. Fred's early career included positions as a Teaching Fellow and Graduate Teaching/Research Assistant at Missouri S&T and a Research Scientist intern at Motorola Solutions. They hold a Ph.D. and a Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla, and an undergraduate degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from National Taipei University of Technology.
