Greta Lundeberg serves as Vice President for Strategy and Advocacy, Government Operations, at The Boeing Company in Washington, D.C. In this role, Ms. Lundeberg leads a team that includes strategy and market analysis, public policy advocacy and Boeing’s relationships with think tanks and trade associations, as well as the Boeing Political Action Committee. Previously, she worked on the International Government Operations team and supported Boeing’s CEO as Chairman of the President’s Export Council.
Prior to joining Boeing in July 2014, Ms. Lundeberg served as Special Assistant to the President and Senior Director for Legislative Affairs on the White House National Security Council staff, where she advocated for the President's national security agenda with Congress. Previously, she was Senior Advisor to the late Ambassador Richard Holbrooke, the Special Representative to Afghanistan and Pakistan at the U.S. Department of State. She served in the U.S. Senate as national security advisor to Senator Bill Nelson covering all international trade and security issues before the Senate Finance, Armed Services, and Foreign Relations Committees, and was a Foreign Policy Fellow to Senator Bob Casey. Ms. Lundeberg started her government career as a Presidential Management Fellow in the Department of State as an India Desk Officer, and also worked at the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative, Asia Society, Council on Foreign Relations, and on several political campaigns.
Ms. Lundeberg is a life member at the Council on Foreign Relations and was a Manfred Woerner Fellow at the U.S.-German Marshall Fund. She has served on the board of the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition and the alumni board of Brooks School and is a recipient of the U.S. Department of State’s Superior Honor Award and the National Security Council’s Outstanding Service Award. Ms. Lundeberg holds a BA in political science from Vassar College and an MA in international history from the London School of Economics.
