Ian Martindale is a retired Associate Technical Fellow and Senior Engineer at Boeing Commercial Airplanes, where they specialized in avionics system design and certification. Ian began their career as a Software Engineer at Marconi Space and Defense Systems and later worked at General Electric as a Software/Systems Engineer focused on thrust management systems. Since joining Boeing in 1983, they have contributed to the design, testing, and certification of various avionics systems. Ian earned a BSc in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Leeds.
