Ian McNeil

Ian McNeil is the Engineering Director at Boeing Defence UK Ltd, a role they have held since 2023. They have been with Boeing Defence UK since early 2007, advancing through various positions of increasing responsibility, including Operations Director and Chief Engineer. Ian served in the British Army for 19 years, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel and commanding units engaged in equipment support and operations. They hold a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and a master’s degree in guided weapon systems engineering, and are a Chartered Engineer as well as a Fellow of both the Institution of Engineering and Technology and the Royal Aeronautical Society. Passionate about employee engagement, Ian supports initiatives for veterans, reserves, and diversity within the workplace.
