James Murrell is an experimental test pilot and senior helicopter instructor with extensive aviation experience. They served as a helicopter pilot and flight instructor in HM Forces from 1998 to 2005, later becoming a senior helicopter weapons instructor. From 2013 to 2017, James worked as an experimental test pilot at the Air Test and Evaluation Centre and has been with Boeing in the same capacity since 2017. They hold a degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Bristol and have completed further studies at the Empire Test Pilots' School, Central Flying School, and Cranfield University.
